Briquettes are made from dry sawdust of pine and birch wood. Wood briquettes do not include harmful substances. In the basis of technical production of wood fuel briquettes there is a process of pressing sawdust under a high pressure while heating. There is a binding element – lignin, which is found in the cells of plants. When specially pressed under high pressure and at heating, briquettes have the form of a cylinder in diameter 95 and length of 300 mm. One briquette weights 2-2,1 kg. Briquettes are packed into a tight thermo shrinkable film which allows to store briquettes at any condition.
Fuel briquettes are used for all kinds of fire chambers, furnaces, central heating and so forth. They perfectly burn in fireplaces, ovens and grills. The big advantage is the temperature constancy at combustion which is about 1 hour. The calorific value of briquettes from wood sawdust equals to 4400 Kcal or 18-20 MJ., while of dry firewood it is only 10 MJ.
The positive aspect, when using wood briquettes in the form of fuel, is their minimum influence on the environment. During combustion, in comparison with classical fuel as e.g. coal, briquettes contain 15 times less ashes than there is in coal.
In comparison with usual firewood, loading into a furnace can be done three times less! Briquettes burn with the minimum amount of smoke. They do not make noise, do not spark. Thus they provide constant temperature on the whole way of burning. After combustion briquettes become coals, as usual firewood, and the preparation of grill would be optimal. If the fat hits the coal, briquettes do not catch fire, but continue to smoulder or burn with an equal low flame.

- are used in furnaces, fireplaces, baths, for preparation of fried meat and grill
- hold high duration of burning, untill 1 hour, and breaking down till 1.5 hours
- have it's energy capacity which is about 18-20 MJ - 2 times more than in dry firewood
- burn with minimum amount of smoke, non-polluting
- do not crack, do not spark, ash content is up to 1 %
- are tight packed that is convenient at transportation
